Day 2 in Heraklion
5th of November 2019
A day trip to a beautiful place in Chania region took place. We went to the only natural lake that exists in Crete, Lake Kournas which lays in a unique landscape and where students and teachers had the opportunity to exercise, enjoy, get wet while doing the paddle boats!
After that water sports took place we went to the nearby village of Argyroupoli where water is running among rich vegetation and had lunch all together.
At late noon we had the pleasure to spend a very nice time near the sea in a beautiful nearby beach where the students competed in water and beach games. So much fun!
We finished our day trip with a visit to the picturesque city of Rethymno wandering in its narrow Venetian streets.
