Day 5 in Vera

Friday

The last day of our Erasmus
week has begun with a “Free tour” around Vera. Our students Marcus,
Mª Mar, Laura, Beatriz, César and Marina have guided our visitors through some
landmarks in Vera: the Rambla, the Water Museum and Plaza de las Lavanderas,
the Convento de los Padres Mínimos, the Main Square, the Church and the
Glorieta.

We have had a reception with
the Mayor at the Town Hall and he has presented each delegation with a homemade
“Jarra de 5 Picos”, which is one of the symbols of our town.

After a quick snack at the
Casa de la Cultura, we have returned to school and we have had a work session.
While the teachers have discussed about the module we worked on and the
activities of this meeting, the students have prepared some videos with the
photographs that they have taken throughout the week.

The work session has ended by
getting together at the Assembly Hall in order to watch the wonderful videos
produced by the students and enjoy one last music performance from our talented
musicians Sebastian, Pablo, María and Nerea, who played a superb cover of Bohemian Rhapsody.

In the evening we have had a
delicious farewell dinner at Juan Moreno,
one of the top restaurants in Vera, where we have enjoyed some fancy gourmet
food. Clara, our Headteacher, has given out the Certificates of Attendance and
we have been able to say goodbye with some music and dancing.

We hope you have had as much fun as we have, and even though we are all exhausted because of the intense programme, we feel very proud for the work done and the enormous amount of things that we learned and shared. Thanks to everyone who has made this possible (coordianators, teachers, students, host families, …) It has been an unforgettable week that will remain in our memories and hearts forever.

The Spanish Erasmus+ Coordinators, together with Diana, our PT teacher, who made our beautiful Photocall.
