Merenojan koulu
The Merenojan general secondary school is located in Kalajoki, Finland with approximately 300 students and 30 teachers. The school provides general education for students in Kalajoki with students departing the school in the direction of either vocational or further studies in the upper secondary school. The school is one of the leading schools in Finland in relation to the use of ICT and technology in the classroom and we are a google education school.
The school has placed an emphasis on international projects and is taking part in them in order to further the knowledge of our teachers and increase motivation of our students. The school has placed a high importance on students and teachers working with organisations outside of school and in this regard the cooperation with the Port of Kalajoki will provide an excellent platform for students to gain new transversal skills and knowledge outside of the classroom.
